Our internationally-known company is the leading provider of innovative solutions for a unique industry. We are a growing company, but we don't have much space to expand in the immediate area of our headquarters in Murrysville, PA. This has caused us to look nearby for additional office space.
A former bowling alley fit our needs in terms of additional parking space and the potential to be a single-level building. However, retrofitting this former alley would demand expertise and a lot of hard work. The choice was made to have Bruce Construction
undertake this challenge.
I am more than pleased that this choice was made. Bruce Construction worked timely and smoothly even with the numerous challenges. They gutted the building completely down to the walls, and turned the 3-level building into a single-level. Of course, with it being a former bowling alley, there were no windows, and Bruce Construction added windows to all four sides of the building, allowing natural sunlight to brighten the workspace. Bruce Construction also helped us with our additional parking goals and incorporated eco-friendly building perks, such as lighting sensors.
Bruce Construction is now on our team, as they are currently working on another project for us in Monroeville. We are sure we'll be as pleased with this project as we were with the last one.

The apparel chain rue21 recently moved its national headquarters to Warrendale, PA and needed to make some changes and upgrades to their new home. Their building was to include a full-scale simulated retail store, as well as ample office space for its many employees. It was important that the office have a modern, trendy, and casual feel, much like the company's product line.
Bruce Construction took on rue21's project and produced outstanding results. The new mod office was fronted with an eye-catching service desk and welcoming décor. The upstairs space was utilized as a workspace to house a number of employee stations, a kitchen and break area, and a full-scale simulated store.
To showcase the beauty of the woodwork in Christ's Lutheran Church, The Church Council, along with the congregation, decided to have the sanctuary remodeled. Because this is our place of worship, it was very important for us to keep the Cross and the natural light stream as the focal point in the front of our sanctuary. The pulpit needed to be elevated to maximize the view from all pews. We were also concerned about the timeframe of the remodel, because we did not want too many Sunday services to be interrupted. This project was unique and we needed a construction company to work with us around all of these factors.
Bruce Construction delivered excellent results right on schedule. We were so pleased with their initial work that we called them back, turning our renovation into a multi-phase project. They took special consideration of the acoustics when choosing building materials, their staff was respectful of the job site, their attention to detail was exemplary, and our budget was adhered to. I was impressed by their ability to work so well with us. Our new sanctuary looks wonderful!
